Dr. Harsh Vardhan Puri is India's first board-certified gold medalist Thoracic Surgeon, currently serving as a Senior Consultant in the Institute of Chest Surgery at Medanta The Medicity, home to the largest department of Chest Surgery and Lung Transplant in the country.

Dr. Puri earned his super-specialization in Thoracic Surgery and Lung Transplant training from Toronto General Hospital, Canada, where he also received the gold medal for his exceptional skills. He is proficient in advanced Thoracic Surgery, Video Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS), Robotic Thoracic Surgery, and Lung Transplants under the guidance of field pioneers.

With over 16 years of experience, Dr. Puri has contributed significantly to the field of Thoracic Surgery through original research articles in prestigious journals and by sharing his expertise at conferences across the nation. Additionally, he serves as the Chief Medical Advisor of the Lung Care Foundation, dedicated to providing lung care to the 2.6 billion lungs in India.
